WHO WE ARE

We exist to know Jesus Christ and make him known as a witness to the Kingdom of God in our neighborhood, city, & beyond.

Whether you consider yourself a believer or skeptic, find yourself energized or weary, we're glad you’re here. At Peak we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is making all things new through the work of His people. To that end we are a community in Old East Dallas that gathers together so that we might display the glory of God for the building and flourishing of His Kingdom.

We Know Jesus Christ…

  • We commit to corporate worship, where the preaching of the Word and the administration of the Sacraments are regularly practiced, understanding that faithful attendance guides and orients our thoughts and actions to the ever-present redemptive work of the triune God.

    [Acts 2:42; 1 Cor 11:23-26; Eph 5:19-20; Col 3:16; 1 Tim 4:13; 2 Tim 3:16]

  • We commit, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to a life of community and prayer with fellow believers, understanding it to bring spiritual growth, necessary accountability, and lasting friendship and support to our lives in an increasingly divisive and isolated world.

    [Matt 18:20; Rom 12:4-5; Heb 10:24-25]

  • We commit to a life of service through our gifts and actions to our church body and the world at large, following in the steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who came “not to be served but to serve.”

    [Mark 10:45; Rom 12:6-8; 1 Cor 12:12-26; James 1:27]

We Make Jesus Christ Known…

  • We commit to a life of excellence in whatever vocation the Lord has called us, understanding our work to serve as a witness to the Kingdom of God and the one behind all things good, true, just, and beautiful.

    [1 Cor 10:31; Eph 2:10; Phil 1:9-11; Col 1:15-17; 3:17, 23-24]

  • We commit to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and action with those in our neighborhood, city, and beyond, as there is salvation in no other name. God has called and equipped His people accordingly.

    [Matt 28:18-20; Acts 4:12; 1 Pet 3:15]

  • We commit to opening our homes and lives to our friends and neighbors, understanding hospitality to be a salve for the loneliness of our day and an entryway for the Holy Spirit to work.

    [John 21:12; Rom 15:7; Heb 13:1-2]

Church Partnerships…

  • Peak is a former church plant of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, a historic Dallas congregation located in the Park Cities. Through their prayer and support, we were blessed to become our own congregation beginning in October of 2025.

  • Peak belongs to the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians (ECO). The mission of ECO is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ.
